Vedic City Tables Palm Land Condemnation
A Jefferson County farmer still has his century old family farm located next to Vedic City. At a public hearing Sunday, the Vedic City Council heard from several from the public in regard to the possible condemnation of the Palms’ farm that borders the city on the east and south sides. After hearing from the public, the council agreed to table the condemnation of Palms’ farm until further negotiations.
though the "until further negotiations" part worries me a bit: does that mean it's not over? are they going to keep pulling weird crap like this?
